We make sustainable children’s clothing. To us that means making choices – for our children and for the environment we live in. At Maxomorra we have been using organic, or ecological, cotton since the start of the company in 2008. It is the heart and soul of the brand, and one of our core values.

We make sustainable children’s clothing. To us that means making choices – for our children and for the environment we live in. To us “I am eco” stands for good choices: ecological grown cotton, only organically certified dyes, social responsible textile manufacturing, GOTS certification, recycled polyamide, low environmental impact transportation. We want this list of what “I am eco” stands for to grow. Keep visiting our web site and follow us in social media for more information on our continued journey for more sustainable, affordable and functional children’s clothing.

Certified by GOTS

All our cotton clothes, except the velour, are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The standard is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

Being a GOTS certified company Maxomorra can assure:

  • Organically grown cotton

  • No use of synthetic pesticides or dangerous levels of chemicals

  • Basic social employment conditions in the manufacturing of our cloths

  • Tractability throughout the production chain

Maxomorra has been using GOTS certified cotton since 2008 and we are a GOTS certified brand since 2011.

Verified by OCS

For those of our products that contains not only cotton, like velour, we use The Organic Content Standard (OCS). This standard, developed by the Textile Exchange organization, relies on a third-party verification to validate that the final product contains the accurate amount of a given organically grown material.
